ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC) POLICY

Close Panel

As of 1 January 2024, the Journal of Economic Policy and Management Issues (JEPMI) will introduce a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) to defray part of its regular costs of peer review administration and management, typesetting and formatting, proofreading and copy editing, web hosting, website maintenance, Open Journal Systems (OJS) subscription fee, and other costs associated with the dissemination of published papers.

The APC will be payable only when the manuscript is accepted for publication and can be paid by the author, sponsor, or employer.

The APC will be determined by the location of the author’s institution and the ability to pay.
Our initial APC for 2024 will be US$180; however, authors from low-income countries will only pay US$100.

To bridge the systemic digital research divide in the scholarly world, JEPMI will endeavour to give a 100% APC waiver to quality papers that have been submitted by authors who can demonstrate that they have no research funding. Such waiver requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be made at the time of submission. The request should be submitted to jepmi.journal@aesri.com.
